Heart of The City Hostel Kandy

Heart of the City Hostel is a simple, clean and comfortable hostel located in the heart of Kandy. We have cool rooftop lounge area to chill and right next door is the most famous bar in kandy, so grab your beers and walk right in!!

Kandy is the hill capital of Sri Lanka and offers the traveler coming from Colombo a key transit hub to travel up North to the Cultural triangle, take a train on the scenic Kandy-Ella train route, or to Continue Eastwards to the magical beaches. Kandy too has plenty of culture to offer, whilst having temples, trekking places and most importantly as a rest point where the temperature and peace of mind you get enables to re charge your batteries to go beyond. Heart of the City Hostel- Kandy is 10 minutes away from the main train station, 5 minutes from the bus station and just a hop, step and a jump away from the City center, which aslo means you SAVE ON TUK rides :)

We have 14 beds in the mixed dorm and 6 beds in the female dorm. We have 5 toilets and 2 shower rooms. We have a roof top facility for guests to mingle with others.We offer the adventurer a place to rest whilst exploring Sri Lanka, whilst our roof top lounge and garden gives everyone an opportunity to mingle with each other and share their adventures of this magical island.
